This group is busy knitting, crocheting, and quilting while enjoying Christian fellowship every Thursdays, 1:00 – 3:00 PM
The group is made up of experienced and novice knitters, crocheters and quilters who would enjoy helping you refresh your skills or learn something new. Please consider joining us for an afternoon of fellowship.
The group regularly donates prayer shawls, lap blankets, baby blankets, hats, scarves, mittens, and fingerless gloves to local organizations such as Teen Mothers Choice, a faith-based program for teen mothers, and Phil’s Friends a support group for cancer patients and Wheeling Township to help those in need in our area. Recently they have started making service quilts for Lutheran World Relief.
The group has also donated prayer shawls, lap blankets and scarves to members of the congregation in times of comfort and need. Contact the church office at (847) 577-7133 or via email for additional details.
